Paint Removal on Chrome Bumper

My blonde girlfriend thought it would be a great idea to paint by my truck as well as to hammer the paint lid shut sending paint splatties everywhere. Three days later I notice dry paint on my chrome bumper. Without damaging the bumper, what's the best way to remove dried paint without scratching the finish? Thanks

Sounds more like something an EX-girlfriend would do!

But if it's just house paint, it's probably water based and will come off with a very light abrasive like one of those sponges with the green scratchy side. Just be careful not to scrub too hard...I use one on my chrome with no issues. If it's oil based paint, something like goof-off would probably work ok without hurting the chrome, but I have no direct experience with that.

If it's latex, but a scrubbee is not enough, denatured alcohol will get it off and I would not think it would hurt a chrome bumper.

I am a big fan of the aluminum foil and DietCoke trick on the chrome; it certainly couldn't hurt here. It took some NYC yellow taxi paint off mine, but that was applied by contact, not when wet.

Plastic scraper

I once bought a plastic razor blade at Ace hardware that I use to scrape stickers off of glass, things cooked onto the stove top, etc. I am assuming this is latex paint, so I would use a plastic scraper to get the paint off and then use rubbing alcohol or goo gone to get rid of any residue.
The scraper I have is like this:

I've used wd-40 to remove paint before.
Let it soak, then just scrape it off with your fingernail, or something soft like an old credit card, etc....
