Paint suggestion

I want to paint my exhaust tip black...is there any special procedure or type of paint that I need to use so it won't peel off because of the heat and the chrome?...

Maybe an engine paint? I believe those can withstand high temperatures.

Sand and scuff it then use BBQ grill paint. That stuff is good to 1200F.
