paint swirls

A Porter Cable buffer, Griots clay and polish should do the trick.

Do a search on "Griot's" or read the detailing section. Plenty of hits.

Swirls

I thought I read somewhere that Momo.75 mentioned using the Griot's polish for swirl marks. I have some swirls on mine and want to order from Griot's and hoping Momo would be as kind to recomend a # for the polish. I have clay and will pick up a PC in the morning from Coastal Tool here in CT. so I just need his run down as what I should order from Griot's.

TIA Momo

Steve

You should check out the Detailer's Handbook. You can go here and download a pdf of it and look through it.

I think it will help you diagnose the condition of your paint and let you know which products will work best. It is hard for me to say which Machine Polish to recomend for your swirls without seeing them in person, but I think you will get a lot out of the book. Let me know if you have any other questions and I will try to answer them, or at least help you find a solution.

I feel bad asking you so many questions since you gave me all the advise for the tinting I had done last Friday. You seem to be the man to ask since you have the sweetest looking truck I've ever seen.
I have been reading the hand book.
