Painted Grille for my SR5?

Hello gang!

I'm brand new to this forum and a brand new 4Runner convert. DAMN, I love my new truck! Anyway, I was hoping to get some advice from you.

I have a white 2008 SR5 that I just bought and I want to swap out the chrome grille for a white one like on the Limited editions. I asked at my parts shop if I can just buy the grille separately and install it myself. They could not guarantee that the grille will fit my hood and there were no returns?!

Would you please point me in the right direction? Will the Limited grille fit an SR5? Is there a website you can recommend that sells just the white grille? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Also, can you buy the blacked out emblems online?

Welcome! Several have done a color-keyed grille mod. Www.partznet.com is a sponsor here and they can probably help you. If not these guys are really good too.

I just looked at this from the second link. It looks like $160 and it'll require some calls/emails. The catalog opens when you select "limited" but isn't real clear about the colors... If you try to select the colors it doesn't work. It's just a catalog error.

Yup,just replaced my smoked chrome grill on my08 sport edition.Picked up from dealer here in Hawaii for$215.00 .Color code for your car is located ondriver door jamb.Where it says color, 1st numbers is the color code.Very happy I made the change.
