I haven't seen anyone who painted their hood scoop grille / mesh a different color than the stock dark grey yet? My 2015 TP is blacked out and I'm considering painting the hood scoop mesh the same color red as the TRD logo on the rims. I'm hoping this will be just enough of an accent color where it will stand out, anyone else done this?

Get some wrapping company to do a semi-decent wrap of it.
Painting it seems one hell of a hassle, not mentioning the scoop has metal and plastic bits that would need to be prepped separately.

I'm only talking about painting the interior part of the hood scoop mesh ( the mini grill inside the opening) the actual hood scoop will remain black as it came from the factory. There is no way to wrap the mesh, I think you've confused this with what others have done to Mod the outside of their hood scoop with vinyl.
That would be ideal and I'm surprised someone isn't already selling these, but I'm just going to paint it and forgo the cool Knight Rider light.

Thanks for the photo! I'm not so sure red is the right color either, but figured I would match the red TRD logos on my wheels. I'm going to try it and if it doesn't look right I'll change it to flat black. I'll be sure to post some pics when I'm done.
