DUPLICOLOR wheel paint is definitely the most coin friendly and easy diy method for wheels. I didnt do my whole wheel but i did paint part of my center punchout and some trim with it. I used the satin black and topcoated with the clear. This stuff is awesome. Goes on even and dark so u really dont have trouble with wait time. A couple light coats and a couple medium wet ones and ur good to go. I did some for a friend and it took me less than 3 hrs. Theres a great youtube video that walks you through the how to. It's sold at autozone, pepboys, kragen, oreilly etc. for about 6 bucks a can. If you're only doing the outter facing part of the wheel it'll take about a can per wheel of each: primer and color. And then put the clear on until you're satisfied, it definitely helps with chipping and stuff, though duplicolor is some pretty sturdy paint so dont be afraid to use it. Their whole line up of auto paints are awesome. Much better than rustleom.
