Same can
Well pdx, one thing's for sure, it's a break from the norm. I agree with SC.....I like the caps, but not so sure about the rims. My first thought was Jurassic Park.
Weird thing is: They were both sprayed the same color from the same can. I made no change in the color choice. The wheel is aluminum alloy, of course, but the center cap is plastic. I don't know what the deal is. I see the difference, too, and I don't know why they came out as different shades. I sprayed the wheel and center cap, after the paint, with krylon satin clear coat. Since I noticed the difference in shade, I went to the PX (Post Exchange...army thing) and bought some gloss clear coat. I'll take photos in the daylight tomorrow and share them.
And I was
trying to avoid the norm. I thought really hard about the color choices other forum members decided on and wanted to be different....but that's how I normally am. Nonconformist, I guess, but it's really hard when I work for the Army. I try, at every chance, to be different but still not get in trouble.
I appreciate the comment about breaking from the norm. It lets me know I am achieving my goal.
I can really only paint one wheel at a time.
TMNT, Jurassic Park ....hahha Nice. I like. Not my goal, but funny.
