Painted stock skid plates

Well just as the title states I went off roading a couple of weeks ago and got some pics of my skids and they looked horrible. So I took them off to paint them only to find a thick layer of oil on them. It took a razor blade and a lot of elbow grease but I managed to get them cleaned up and put back on. Wish I could have inserted pics into this story but I don't know how to so here they are. First the pic that made me wanna paint them then the oil then the painted version then the final product. Let me know what you think.
