Painting my Waag...

I want to paint my Waag grille guard to match my truck. Has anyone done this before and have suggestions about prep and such? It is the black powder coated variety. Any help would be certainly appreciated. Thanks.

You would need to ruff the surface by sanding it with 3/400 paper and making sure not sand down to metal (if so you need primer). The most important part would be to clean the surface very well before painting. There are very good OEM color paints that come in a spray cans. I recommend following the instructions for the products you will be using, TO THE LETTER.

Some guy on yotatech did this. He painted the brushguard silver to match his truck. I think his username is LSUMatt something. Try looking over there if no one here responds.
