Painting the interior black.

The interior of my 4Runner is gray (except the dashboard, middle console, and the top portion of the doors).

I was thinking of painting the whole interior black. If I did, how would you think it would come out? I mean, would it last, especially the seats?

Sound like a plausible idea or should I just forget it and not go though all the trouble?

It would probably look really good, duplicolor makes a really good paint for plastics... any autoparts stores sale it...

Dont paint it, just get a black dash kit. Check out the link below.
the photo on the web page has the wood grain kit but they also have black and other colors if you like.

i second that duplicolor is the way to go, i dyed my seats 2-tone black and gray and did my plastic and vinyl trim black with the vinyl spray about a year ago and it looks great. If you search on here you can find my thread about it.

If u got the time and money do it. But it takes a lot of rattle cans, and a ton of time. I started to and decided it just wasnt worth it. not to mention if u ever want to sell, its gonna make things hard. Dash kits the way to go if u really wanna change.
