Painting Wheel Caps

I have a 2001 SR5 4Runner with the 16" painted wheels. I would like to know what paint color to use on the wheel inserts for an exact match the OEM silver color. My wheels are in excellent shape but the inserts or caps are messed up. I would rather paint them myself than look for some new ones. I tried to get the dealer to use VIN for color code but that will not work. Thanks for your help.
