Papadop88's 2020 TRD PRO Build

Any info on the part number? Much appreciated!!

The part number they gave me for the rears are 25001-382. They will show that they don't fit, and they don't look like what is pictured, but that's the part number they gave me. These were fully custom built shocks directly from King so not sure how the part number shown on retail sites matches up with what they put on my truck. I would reach out to King to confirm the part number...

Well, here she is. I picked her up earlier this afternoon...

I had them level the truck with a quarter inch front rake. I anticipate the fronts to settle slightly lower as well.

From the count of threads. Front passenger shows 7 threads. Front driver shows 10 threads.

These things ride like absolute butter. They eat up every little bump on the freeway and I can't even feel speed bumps or driveways. I also love the "ticking" sound of the bypass tubes when I hit any big bumps.

The truck truly drives like a king. Here are the pics and the video below...

Looks great, I know you said it eats up the bumps and stuff but what are all the benefits of the rear setup. I added weight to the front of mine like you and was waiting on eibach but since they kept the springs at 600 for the pro I’m going to have to do a full suspension.

The rears can be dialed in easily by adjusting each of the tubes for rebound and compression. Super easy to adjust on the fly depending on road or dirt conditions. They're just beefier as well and are built for competition. I don't have experience with the regular King rear shocks so I can't make a comparison, but all I know is that these things are smooth.

I've received a few messages asking where I mounted the Sprint Booster.

Here it is. I ran and ziptied it up through the footwell and under the undercarriage into that blank cap. Took the cap out, dremeled out a hole big enough for the wire to pass through and stuck it to the back of the cap with the adhesive the booster came with already.

Super clean, out of sight, no wires showing, yet easy access with my right hand to make changes on the fly.

Thanks man. Love Shrockworks so good on you for supporting your home state businesses. As for the rails, just have them powder coated. That's what I did. Cost me $60.

Yeah I found some black rails for $100. I also found someone that wants my TRD Pro rack so I will end up making money so I can put that towards my Morimoto LED headlights. I just sold my Predator steps for $200 which I never thought would happen. Does everyone just buy the Morimoto's from the same source??

GAS ordered my morimotos as they have a strong partnership with Retrofit Source. They install hundreds of their lights on various cars and trucks so I got a good deal on them. I would say 95% order them from XD or TRS (which essentially are the same company).

So you are saying about the sprint booster that where I was going to add mine there. Have not done it yet. But you are saying does the cap just pop out and still needed to drill a Hole behind that to get the wire thru?

That's correct. Pop that cap off, take a dremel and make a hole in the bottom edge of the cap exactly wide enough to pass the wire through. Should take 10 mins going slow.

***Update***

So it's been a couple weeks since I switched to the King setup. Loving every aspect of it with the exception of the rear stock springs.

Now that everything is settling, the rear has settled further than the fronts and no longer have the small rake up front (which is what I want). I don't want to lower the front anymore as I like that height. I am 32" (fender to bottom of wheel) in the front and 32" in the rear (fender to bottom of wheel).

Also, the rear stock springs are feeling too soft for me the more I drive it. When I fill the gas tank up full, I also have the dreaded driver's side lean in the rear.

Therefore I'm ordering the 1" Eibachs from Ryan @ Eibach to swap out the coils. Should add around 0.6" to 1" of lift in the rear Maybe after settling it'll have the exact rake I'm looking for without lowering the front. As for the lean, I'm going to be adding a rear trim spacer (Dobinsons), either 10mm or 15mm to balance the rear out a bit.

I told myself I wouldn't get wheels for this truck because I really like the Pro wheels, but I also told myself I wouldn't swap suspension from the Pro's Fox suspension. So here I am...Hi, I'm Papa and I'm a modaholic.

Been eyeing the SCS wheels and I wanted to go the blue on white truck route...since I went with Kings.

So here are my new BR6 wheels in Stealth Blue. Hoping to mount them sometime this weekend or next week.

I've said the same thing. I'm really just trying to do need mods not wants. Coming from 5 Jeeps in last 15 years I have spent way too much unrecoverable money on my vehicles and the 4R takes way too much modding to make mods work. I trade in my vehicles way too much to waste that much money again. Problem is I have no wife to say no or kids to look at that won't be going to college to keep me from my own stupidity and insanity. I love your white TRD Pro. I really wanted white but there wasn't one close enough and I needed one immediately since I didn't want to track down death wobble in my Jeep anymore.
