I like the TRD intake design but i do want to stick with a paper filter. I heard that maybe the stock FJ paper filter is the perfect fit for the 4th gen TRD CAI? Does anyone know for sure?

if you are talking about the filter, the standard filters for all the 4.0 is the same, now if you want the k&n, afe, trd, they are just cotton gauze filter. one company makes it all if you do a little bit of searching.

I dont live in a dusty environment, just dont like the fact that fine sand/debris make it past gauze type filters.
I’d love the TRD intake with a paper filter in lieu of the gauze they supply. That’s really what i am after.
