Parasitic drain *♂️

So been having a drain problem and it lead to the ecu-B fuse smh. Wanted to know if someone experienced this problem. Ideas on what it is before I check everything.

No idea on what it would be, really could be anything...

No shortcuts haha, sounds like it's time to grab a decent multimeter and start pulling fuses.

Since it's lead you to the ECU so far you'd better start searching. I don't know about on 4runners but I've heard of this on several other vehicles. Essentially, the ECU fails to go to "sleep" after some time of being off like it is designed to. Therefore, the ECU becomes like a laptop hardwired to your battery that's powered up and humming away 24/7. This is a pretty good drain.

I've got no idea if this is a common issue but I'd imagine the "fix" is to flash/reprogram the ECU or more likely just replace. Let us know what you find.

How about a little background? Anything new installed? What’s your drain amps with your fuse in/out?I had a drain issue and from what I recall the ecu b fuse had some draw on it but it was minimal and not the source of my problem.

Nothing new installed.. everything was unplug and check to see if the draw was went down. Not sure what the draw reading but the draw is enough to almost kill my battery overnight.
