One more question when you ground that wire which one of the wire do you tap into or you just ground to any bare metal?

I'm going to guess that you are trying to get your DVD/Nav to work while driving. If so, you just ground your brake wire to any ground. Unless its a pioneer 5700/avic-1/avic-2, in which case, the brake wire needs to be on a switch, then put to ground.
