Parking/Marker Light Bulbs out...help?

Hi Everyone! I am new to this forum and glad to be a part of it. I am having trouble replacing the parking/marker light bulbs on my 2003 4 Runner. I bought the 168 bulb, but I cannot seem to get it out to replace it. The headlights are easy, but this seems to be more difficult or I am just completely clueless. Does anyone know how to change these?

Do you mean the fronts? I just followed the manual, rotate left and pull. However, it was very hard to turn, getting it back in was a bugger. I was just about to try needle-nose pliers to turn it, but managed to do it on my final attempt with my fingers. Perhaps I should've lubed it with a little dielectric grease.

I searched bulb places online for the yellow 5W bulbs, ended up at the dealer, and they weren't cheap.

To replace the parking/front sidemarker light bulb you need to turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and then pull out.

To detach a bulb from the socket, pull it straight out.

When installing the socket, make sure that the arrow on the socket is aligned with the dot on the headlight housing - this ensures that the wider lug on the base of the socket is aligned with the wider cutout in the headlight housing.
