Part ID needed, making clicking noise

This part just started clicking, loud enough that I can hear it in the cab. I'm pretty sure it's coming from this part as I could feel it clicking when I touched it. It seems to do it more the colder it is. Any ideas what it is or why it would be making noise? Thanks.

I'll give it a shot. VCV for the evap system? Are you getting any codes?

Negative on the codes, and everything's running fine. Gas mileage doesn't appear to be affected, although it's hard to tell as it always takes a hit when the winter gas hits and using 4WD in the snowy stuff.

VCV? Vacuum Control Valve?

I think you mean VSV, or vacuum switching valve. Googled VCV and came up with that. Pics seem to verify that it's probably what I'm looking at.

Mine clicks too, but only at low rpms it seems. Mine is pretty much brand new too.

I do notice it more at low RPM, but I'm not sure if the noise is just being drowned out at higher RPM. What made you replace yours?

My charcoal canister was bad, so I bought a new Toyota one. Came with all the sensors and everything.

VSV (I was close). Just had to replace one a month ago from a p0446 code. That looked like the charcoal canister at the bottom right of your pic, but I was working on an '01 (2 VSV's under the hood, Canister and VSV #3 in the rear). If you're not getting an evap code yet, then it's obviously working. Maybe it's getting ready to poop out. They're supposed to make a click noise when voltage is applied. IIRC I got one from Advance Auto (Dorman) for about $40.
