Yeah, I remember the service manager at Stockton to Malone in Salt Lake telling me back in 03' how I was going to have all kinds of problems after he saw my K&N intake. Well, knock on wood, I have never had a problem yet. Guess thats why he was the guy in a suit and not a "real" mechanic in the shop. I do agree you will get oil blow through so a check on the sensor is a good idea. In my old turbo volvo, oil residue gets by to the Mass air sensor but never really fouls the readings so I think these are pretty durable. If your check engine light comes on soon, you will know where to look first though.
