Part number for door actuator?

My drivers side door will not lock/unlock with the FOB. My thoughts are it’s the actuator? Anyone have this issue and know the part number ?

Had this truck going on 8 years. Rock solid except for this !

PS: My dealer wants $700 to repair. Says it’s part of latch assembly as well?

door lock actuator

If you're up to doing the work, you might look at the 1A Auto door lock actuator... I put one in my 2012 TE 4R almost a year ago, and the price for that part, driver side front door, was really good.

2 tips -- the flip open door for the cable attach, be careful, you can break it....
and, to reattach the inside trim to the door, it was a lot easier with the window *down*. For the rear door, I detached the door trim "hanger" from the door trim & put it on.

Oh, and I sprung for a trim tool kit from amazon, for about $10, plastic/nylon pry bars & such, that helped.

Guys, I need help if you can. I replaced everything and it appears to have fixed the issue. However, once I put everything back together, I couldn't use the interior door handle to open the door. I have taken apart things again and I think the issue is with where the cable attaches. Does everything look correct?

I had that happen

... when I replaced the actuator in the rear door. It's been long enough that I'm vague on details, but I seem to recall that it was related to the cables & the "state" of the actuator when I put it in place... by "state", I mean whether the cables where pulled out or pushed it. Sorry for vagueness, but it's the best I can do... I had that same situation where the door handle/lock or something didn't work, took the actuator back out, messed with it a bit, put it back in and it was working OK.

Maybe whatever isn't working, move the cable so the actuator is "different" & try again?

I'm experiencing the same on my '12 Trail. Initially the door would only unlock but not lock. Now both unlock/lock are disabled, however I can lock all doors using key to driver door. Will be taking it in to the dealership (extended warranty). I should've taken it in during my week off. Oh wells.
