I was wanting to convert my 1995 to the manual locking hubs. Will the hubs off your Gen1 work on my 1995?
If so, how much to ship both front hubs with internals to 97219?

Are these the clips you need? Looks like they are all in good shape. I can't get to the tailgate harness right now but I'm pretty sure it's good. I don't know what it looks like off hand. Are you going to just splice it to yours or are you wanting the plug from the door? $10?

yes those are the ones.. I think there are some that you put screw into as well. I could use the screws too.. Yes the complete harness only if there are not to many cuts or nicks in the wiring. $10 sounds good. just pm me the complete total..

You can use those hubs in your 4runner. The only thing you need to do is get rid of your driver side axle tube and use a non add axle tube. Your add axle tube still uses vacuum lines and has a big box with a fork in it to lock and un lock the hubs.

I'll have to check tonight to see what condition its in.

I have a problem! Anybody know how to lower the tailgate window when there is no battery? The motor and everything is all stripped out of the car. I wasn't planning on stripping this car when I first took the motor out. Any ideas?

Any reason you can't run jumper leads from a battery to the motor or the pins on the harness?

I was thinking about that but didn't know if it would blow up the motor on the tailgate. So you think I can just take 2 wires from the battery and manually just touch the motor leads and it should work?

I'm pretty sure 12 volts is 12 volts.

Haha. I can't argue with you there. I just didn't want to do something stupid and fry it. Didn't know if the power was stepped down from the battery to the motor. Thanks I'll try tonight!

I did it the other day to all of mine in order to determine the polarity for the up and down. I checked for voltage drops on a good working motor first and there was no voltage drop after the Door Control Module of the Rear Window Module. It won't hurt a thing.

Worse case, page BO-11 of the FSM gives you a no power option for taking out the rear window.

Sorry don't have the chrome trim. It was trashed so it was replaced with a rubber one when I put new windshield in.

It was just a universal rubber trim that the glass guy brought for it because the chrome was trashed. I'll take a pic and post for you

When you say gasket is this what you are referring to? I don't really see an actual gasket.

Rubber gasket is in great shape. Here is a pic kind of hard to see but at least you can see it somewhat. If you want it I'll PM you with your total and get it shipped!
