ok so im gonna be rebuilding my engine as soon as i get it back from toyota since they have had it a month and havent done anything nor are they going to do anything( http://www.toyota-4runner.org/classic-t4rs/83649-rebuild-buy-used.html ). so wat im wanting to know from those of you that have rebuilt the v6 3.0 is what i need or should replace. i already have a rebuild kit that i got it has
-full gasket kit
-pistons
-piston rings
-wrist pins
-freeze plugs
-main and rod bearings
-thrust washers
-oil pump
-and the head bolts
i plan on buying the following to go with this
-plugs, wires, cap and rotor button
-water pump
-timing belt
-redoing all the vacuum lines
-upper and lower radiator hoses
-thermostat
-and belts
i also plan on trying to find a shop that can dip the block, heads and intake to clean them and that can also check the block and heads as long as i can find one that isnt goin to charge me an outrageous price. so is there anything that i missed, or advice that any of you can give will be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.
