Big A+ to Partznet.

I just ordered an OEM Fog Light switch on Sunday evening and received the part Tuesday when I got home from work. Installed it same evening and it works perfectly.

Switch was less than $10 at partznet, about $16 shipped to me in VA.

I checked out the PartzNet site and was gratified to be able to look up almost any part for my '04 4Runner. Kudos to your organization for making discounted parts ordering available online! This is great.

That is "almost any part."

I noticed that the graphic for the '04 4Runner's fender flares was still the one for the '03 model year, which was quite different. Listed parts for the fender flares were incorrectly listed the same as for '03 as well.

After finding this important mistake that could easily be missed by a do-it-yourselfer and observing that sk#'s were not used in the process, I find that I don't have much faith in the lookup system and can't recommend it's use.

Anyone trying to buy parts online should use an official parts book and call in their order using the specific number for their part listed in the book.

Need center rear bumper trim for 05 Sport

I reversed my Runner into a contrete pillar and it looks like only the bumper trim is damaged. I would like to replace it so my Runner can look almost new again can anyone help? part numbers? diagrams?

I have a parts book for the '03 thru '05 4Runner.

The rear bumper is the same P/N for all 3 models.

This is the center portion of the rear bumper:
1> 2005 Cover Bumper w/Trailer Hitch (P) - P/N: 52159-35100, lists $76.47 in the book.

(P) Paint to match.

Paint codes:
Black - 202
Blue - 8Q0
Champagne - 587
Gray - 1E9
Grayish Blue - 8R3

This is the end pieces:
2> Extension, Bumper Cover (P), SR5 Model - P/N: R 52152-35120 and L 52153-35120, lists for $174.12 each in the book.

There are 8 seperate parts altogether. The rest are small:

Does Partznet still sell parts?

I am wondering if Partznet shut down? I called, emailed, and PMed about a special they had on their website for the VIP RS32000 Plus Security System for 2000 to 2002 4runners and nobody has gotten back to me. After searching this site I found a posting about the alarm system being on sale with 10 left back in 2005 and it doesn't look like the Partznet website has been updated since then. Does anybody know what the deal is with them? I am very hesitant to order something from a company when I can't even talk to a person before I order the product, despite what a good deal it could be (and I would know how good the deal is if they would just get back to me to anser my questions).

I am sorry for such a slow response. Thanks for all the valuable info you posted on the bumper parts. I have to find someone to paint it then I will buy it. The dent is noticable only up close so I may leave it as is.

I must also put out a big A+ to these folks. I needed some oil filters for my 4 Runner and found a great price. Got them 2 days after I ordered them.

I have to say thanks and I will likely be shopping again......as long as the Mrs. does not find out.
