Passenger Airbag Light shows Off when there is a passenger

Driving home tonight with my wife, the passenger airbag light displayed "off" while she was seated with her seatbelt on. Tried even re-starting, getting up off the seat, rebuckling, etc. No luck. It remains in the off setting.

Do I have a bad weight sensor?

The seat is only 4bolts. Pull it out and see if you can find something. It might just be a loose connection.

It is a possibility. Was the "on" light on when she rode in that seat previously? I know if I have a light passenger in the seat, my airbag will turn off.

Figured it out...i had the seats folded down and it was pushing up against the seat.
