Passenger Headlight Pushes In :(

My passenger headlight doesn't stick out as far as it should and it can be pushed in. When I pop the hood I realized if I push the nut that is used to adjust the headlight it sticks out but it doesn't hold...

Any idea on what the cause of this could be???

its a crack in the plastic piece on the other side that acts kinda like a washer. U cant find a replacement piece unless u get it at the junkyard or from a part out... the dealership only sells headlights in the whole kits.

Mine was doing the same thing, the headlight housing was cracked were the stud went into the plastic. I used that as an excuse to do the 99+ mod and got the Depo brand from Certifit. was under $100 for the pair shipped to my door.

You can fix it for about 50 cents like I did. You have to take the assembly out and locate the adjusting screw that has the broken washer. You have to get a washer that fits in a cutout in the shaft.

The 99 and newer lights dont have all the lines running through them are clear and look just a lot cleaner.
