Passenger Seat Sensor Issues

So, I swapped the entire interior from a 2WD 2001 Sport to a 4WD 2000 Sport. I liked the grey better than the tan...That was one hell of a task. However, after swapping I'm noticing the wires that attach to the passenger seat and connect to the sensor (for the airbag: allowing the car to know if someone is sitting in the passenger seat) don't match up.

On the 2001 there are 3 wires. A brown, green, and black. On the 2000 there are 2 wires, a yellow/green, and a white/black.

Will I be able to wire these together, if so...which wires? or do I need to get a 2001 wiring harness from Toyota?

On the 2000, the SRS system is not connected to the seat sensor at all. All the seat sensor does is activate the light and the buzzer which is a separate circuit. So yes, SRS will deploy. I don't have a 2001 EWD, so I can't tell you what the other wire does. In 2002, seat sensor IS connected to SRS, but the colors are the same as in 2000, not as you describe.

My seat sensor on my '99 has been disconnected since 1999. It's the same as your 2000.
