PCV valve won't break loose - 4.7

I'm trying to change the PCV valve on my 4.7, but it won't break loose. I'm using a crescent wrench. Any tips here? It looks like a standard thread, so I'm putting leverage towards the driver seat. Don't wanna try much harder for fear of cracking the valve cover.

Try heating it, or removing it while the engine is hot.

Yep, engine was cold. That was probably my first problem. Will try again tomorrow with engine warm.

If you're using an adjustable bolt rounder adjustable wrench or open end wrench, try a box wrench or flare nut wrench instead. Sometimes just having a better grip helps even if you don't get more leverage, and not having the wrench slip off will keep you from damaging other things.
