PDF Owners Manual?

Has anyone downloaded the PDF version of the 2008 Owners Manual? I've done a search and dug through the archive and haven't been able to find one.

I'm looking at getting a new 4R and would really like to peruse the owners manual. Unfortunately, unless you already own one, they will not let you register and complete the down load.

The Owners Manual, Navigation Owners Manual, and the Scheduled Maintenance Guide are all posted as PDF files, one file per chapter (just like TIS).

The big drawback is that you must put in a word to search for, and then it will give you the relevant chapters. It won't take "the", for example, so you'll have to be a little more creative than that. "toyota" got just about all of them. "japan" brings up the Gas Station Information (inside the back cover), and "injury" brings up the Important Information About This Manual page.

Also, you can only bring up the manuals for a car you have registered. You can't pick any arbitrary model or year.

Someone will probably post it now that it's easier to get to. If you're willing to spend $10, you can also get the manuals, TSB's, and even access the service manual at TIS without the restrictions mentioned above.

I think paying the $10 might be the easiest route. I had the same problem when I bought my Accord. When you log in, they want you to down load everything chapter by chaper - what a pain in the arse!
