I've dug around in the various threads on this but did not really see an answer...does anyone have Pedal Commander and a Tune on their 4Runners?
I have Pedal Commander installed and it made a night and day difference in how much fun it is to drive the 4Runner and from what I understand it is kind of a "band-aid solution" to the 4Runner's throttle response. A performance tune would ad like 20HP to the engine but would fix the ECU in general (specifically from 4th to 5th gear). I was just wondering if I did do a tune would it be necessary to keep the Pedal Commander or since I have the Pedal Commander is that band-aid solution to the 4Runners sluggish throttle response enough to not bothering with the tune.
