I like this but it looks like it's bulging the bumper valence a little bit. Can that be corrected with a shim of some sort?

I currently have the top cover placed with out the pressure fasteners. It just sits easily moved aside. I don't here it vibrating or under there think the hood itself puts sufficient pressure to keep it in place while driving

On my next off set I think I will look for spacers to place to between the winch mounts opening and the hawse fairlead. Dremmeling out the valence and bumper enough tso the spacers fit sandwiched in between. That way there is plenty pressure, sturdiness and less to no bulge on the valence.

Through the engine bay. The I have the cover over the evaporator assembly placed without the snaps. Same as attaching the control control

The C4 bumper/winch combo is only roughly $300 more than the pelfrey/winch combo. Guess it depends on whether you like the look or not. I like the stock look while having the winch. Works for me.

Not a fan of the bull bar on the slime lines I've seen. Probably be a year or two before I replace the bumpers completely also probably going with pelfreybilt. The stock recovery points will suffice.

Can you snap a photo of this? The one thing holding me up from going the PB Hidden Winch Mount route is clutch access and I don't think it's cost effective to spend an extra $700-800 to go from a Warn Zeon to Platinum with wireless clutch if I can just go with a C4 or SSO low profile bumper and have access holes.
I reallllly want the hidden look to work out as I'm a fan of the factory look wherever possible.

I check the AC lines but no adjustments other than loosening the brackets that hold them. No pressure on them. I'm not tracking HWM by budbuilt for 2014+

I went with the Pelfreybilt HWM and Warn Zeon 10-S. It's snug, but it fits without relocating the control pack if you give that line's brackets a little bendy. There are two things I am working through:
1. Clutch lever on the Zeon 10-S is larger than most winches that I saw at 4WheelParts when I went to pick it up. Looking down on the winch from the front of the car, if 9 o'clock is clutch engaged and 3 o'clock is disengaged, it gets hung up at 6 o'clock on part of one of the lower grill's mounting points. I tried moving the winch back all the way on the plate and it helped slightly. I already have a very slight gap between the fairlead mount and the back of the bumper, which I assume was pulled into shape when I tightened the fairlead hardware. The simple fix to this right now is to slightly pull out on the grill from the outside with one hand and twist the clutch lever with the other. It works, no biggy here.
2. I cut a hole and mounted a 4" ID screw in deck lid from a boat or kayak (they're both boats, I know) on the cooling plate, aka the giant plastic piece that covers the area between the radiator mount and the grill/headlight assemblies. While only being able to mount on the flat section and not the raised/angled portion at the front plastic piece, it's a bit too snug between the radiator mount, the horns and the already small cutout to get my hand in there after all to set it up. Might have to leave it open all the time unless I want to play with moving the horns.
