Pensacola

I'm out until mid-August due to travel and trying to get a few new additions on her before I leave for vacation. But: I've been wanting to go up to Boggs and Boulders in Andalusia, AL one weekend after that... Anybody else interested?

I figured we could try and set a date (I'm leaning toward the 22nd/23rd) for us locals and then see if we can't rally some other people from AL or maybe other parts of Florida to come too...

My uncle goes up there at least once a month to ride 4 wheelers, I asked him about it a few months back, and he said it's not that great for vehicles. I'll see about taking my 4wheeler up there the next time he goes and report back.
 
Alright, talked to my uncle again and we are going up on the 4Wheelers at the end of the month. He said we will be fine as they now have bypasses around the deep holes. I'm game for any Sunday as usual.
 
Awesome. Let us know! And if it's not as good as running around Eglin, I'd be up for that too. I completely understand if y'all can't wait that long though...:biggrin2:

Went out there today, and let me say this, we rode all day, covered almost 40 miles of the 130+ miles of trails on the 4wheeler. They only have 1 trail that it atv only, the rest are if you fit, you can go. I would say 60-70% of what we covered today, we could handle in our trucks. Airing down will probably be a must!

It's mostly what I would consider unmaintained forest roads, but more difficult than what we run in eglin. I even found a nice limestone trail to try out our rock crawling. I stopped and talked to a guy in a newer jeep, and he said he thought we would be fine, but he was fully locked and armored. Some trails are tight, some are open. The downside to their trail system is that the trail heads are poorly makes and Branch off everywhere, so you may start on a simple trail and end up on the xx trails which are tight and steep.

Overall it's a good place, and there is no way we will cover what we covered today. We were moving at a good click, but spotters will be needed on some of them for our rigs. I think the thing to do would be to camp the weekend there, but I didn't get a chance to price that.
 
I'm definitely interested.

I'll call around early this week and see what I can find for camping. I'm free any weekend in Aug starting the 14th.

Let's set a date, start a thread and see who we can rally!!!
 
I live in Niceville, work at Hurlburt Field. Just got a new 5th Gen...chances are good the wife won't be happy about taking the new truck out for some fun but what momma don't know won't hurt her right?

Yea good luck with that. We just got a new one to add to the fun, and it was put in writing that no off-roading in it till its paid off lol. Good thing the 3rd gen is a beast!
 
Toyota club

I live in the Pensacola area. And I'm wanting to start a Toyota off road club. I'm tired of only jeep clubs around. I own a 07 FJ and am looking for toyotas of all kinds
 
Whats up Gents just traded up and got into a 5th gen trail, also just moved out to milton so am close to the pensacola area. Looking to meet some fellow yota enthusiasts. Also any recommendations on shops ? should be ordering my lift here shortly...
