What is the current situation on performance parts for the current generation V8's. I saw some mention of a cold air intake but havent seen any reviews or anyhing else about it since. Short of adding a supercharger which is out of my price range what could i do to get some extra power and maybe some fuel economy when my foot isnt on the pedal. I know that kind of comes with the territory but hypothetically speaking...
Have throttle body spacers been pretty much dismissed as a benefit unless you use larger componets before it?
What about performance chips? In my experience the mainly changed the feel more so than add tons of power but are the avaliable? I didnt see one on superchips site.
Id prefer not to have to change the exhaust because i dont want my 4runner to sound like my explorer. At times i do like how it sounds but I'd just prefer not to have to hear it all the time like i do in the explorer.
Thanks,
Major
