Performance add ons?

I just recently purchased an 03 T4R, v8 sport edition with 89k. This is the third Toyota i have owned, one being an 86 T4R, and the other a 96 80 series landcruiser. So far i love the new runner, and am now wanting to start messing with it a little.
I was doing a little searching and found a few things that i am interested in, and was wondering if anybody had opinions on them.

The first would be the jet v-force power module. They had these available for the 80 series and the general consensus seemed to be that they were a waste of money. Was wondering if they do any good for the 4runner?

Also I was wondering if anyone is running the JBA headers that are sold through URD, and any opinions on those.

Dont do it. The JET chip is crap from what i hear. U might be better getting the maf cal or something.. Either way u have the 03 and i dont think to many things r available for your year make...Sorry.

Full intake and cat back are about all the easy options to make more power. Even then it's mostly an increase in sound. Power is probably only 10-15 more hp for the $1000 you'd spend.

Without getting a supercharger or turbocharger....any ad-on performance enhancers either don't work at all...will only give you modest performance gains at the upper end of the RPM range.

I added a Magnaflow Cat-Back to my 03 V8 and I love it. I'm sure that it breaths much easier and that I have a few extra hp. I agree that the sound is the most significant improvement, but that alone is well worth it!

I also installed a Volant CAI, but removed it after issues with my MAF. I have a aFe dry filter now and I am happy with my performance (which is only a bit more than stock). With the V8 performance is great anyway.
