Performance parts? anyone?...Buler?

Hey all,

So i've been meaning to ask this for a while. are there any vendors that someone can point me at that make some performance parts for the 3.0 v6?

Specifically i'm looking for an ignition coil/ distributor upgrade, and a new air intake.

I could replace these with OEM parts but in my experience when something breaks it's time for an upgrade. I've checked all the usual places, but summet and JEGS got zip, and i can't seem to find anything that would work on ebay.

SO, my hope is that one of you forum vets can point me in the right direction.

LC Engineering and D.O.A. make some pretty cool parts.

Not a whole lot of aftermarket support for the 3.0, another reason why so many hate it.

no kidding. I'm wondering if it wouldn't be worth it to trade up to a different more recent motor.

The 3.0 isn't a power house, and it takes a lot of money to make small HP changes. Its defiantly not a "tuner motor". What it is, is a solid reliable motor that as long as you take care of the HG and valve covers should last you till the end of time.

The 3.4 swap out is a popular motor swap for people looking for more.
