Performance Products 1" springs/bilsteins

Does anyone have any experience with Performance Products 1" coil springs - supposedly give around 1.75-2.0" of lift.
Paired with the Bilstein HD shocks?
I'm thinking about getting it, also how hard is it to install, and how much would an average mechanic charge to put these on?

Good luck getting them, I tried to buy some last week and they said to call back next month. They are expecting a new shipment from Germany. But from what I can tell they run out often and lead times are never correct. I gave up and bought the 99 springs.

Yes, I called PP themselves first and Shox.com and he said he just drop ships them from PP as I would assume all the others do.

installed mine about 3 months ago. Great added look to my runner. It is close to 2". My dad has a 96 and before the rear bumper was close, i have 75s and his are 70 tires but now mine is a lot more taller and rides much better. but now i need an alignment and replace rotors

I've heard great things about the PP springs. I was originally looking to get them for my truck but decided I wanted more lift and start piecing together a sonoran steel system 7. One thing I learned though was that many ppl have tried them with billsteins and complain about a harsh ride. I would put some tokico trekmasters with them if you decide to get them. I have contacted quite a few ppl about this setup and there are a few that like the bilsteins, I think the tokico would be much much better.

This is true but they are a slightly better than stock replacement and they have a lifeftime warranty.

tokico might be the stock replacement for sr5 but for 4runner its bilsteins. I'm riding on stock bilsteins right now.

How can you tell since most of the OEM shocks are just black and I've never read that Bils were used except on the tacomas.

Is there a difference in the Bilsteins? I thought there was just the heavy duty shock that went with the 4Runners? Is there a "stock" bilstein available also??? If so, I am assuming it is a softer ride?

tokico might be the stock replacement for sr5 but for 4runner its bilsteins. I'm riding on stock bilsteins right now.

I highly doubt the used different shocks on different trim levels of the 4runner. I replaced my factory shocks last summer and they were infact black but had tokico stamped on them.
