Petroglyphs & 4Runners III! - Terese Village Site - 1/20/18

Hi all...
Lack of rain makes great opportunity to go up 395 to the JoBurg/Randsburg area and check out a site wanting to see for some time.... the Terese Village site

Terese Petroglyphs / Village (Coso Style Petroglyphs / El Paso Mountains) - {REBOOT} - Death Valley Jim - Guide to the Mojave Desert, Death Valley, Joshua Tree

Since this is a relative new discovery within the past 30 years, it is in good shape to check out how life was around 1500 to 2500 years ago. The road in doesn't look too challenging per Google Earth maps. Drive should be about an hour if we use service road, nothing challenging that T$R can't handle. Should be a good time to check out some rock art and have peaceful day in desert.

We can meet off 395/ JoBurg Texaco around 830am on the 20th (GPS 35.37145, -117.63269)... depending on mood and weather, we'll plan route for either easy or scenic... pray for rain, but not that day!

easy day trip... I cant afford at this time to take my 22 year old dd through a intense rock course at this time...

the 'glyph site is about 10 miles north of JoBurg... should be fun... I'll PM you info

No armor needed
Mostly sandy wash, no bolder surfing - standard lift should work, but might need 4x4 for sand
Let me know if your going when you find out, I’ll send coordinates
