I installed this kit last night. I was super easy and they look f***ing amazing! I drove around last night and couldn't believe how much I lite up the street. This kit wasn't cheap, but is so much better than the generic ones. This is essentially the exact setup that many high end cars come with. I'll try to to take a pic and post it soon. This is all of course just my $.02.

Good quality HID kits such as XenonDepot will set you back about $250, and Phillips kits will generally run more around $350-$400 due to them being made in Germany I believe. Of course you can go all the way up into the $499 range. All depends on the company.

Hey thanks Josh. Are the XenonDepot any different than the Phillips in quality, longevity, etc at 43k?

Thanks,

Can't say how they do compared to one another, as I have only used Xenon Depot. However, everyone that has chosen Xenon Depot seems to be pleased, as am I. They warranty their product, so if anything did go wrong, you would be covered.

lol, nope.. I meant 30,000! :bigok:

Weird, I would have thought something with a Kelvin rating that high to be in the bright purple end of the spectrum. Starts turning purple around 6000k-8000k. How does a 30,000k end up blue?

Well most 8k & 10k HID's start out blue, but after they heat up, they turn into a bright white, with maybe a little bit of a blue/purple tint. The 30,000k start out white, but when they heat up they turn into a deep blue color.

help please

the stock low beam harness on the driver's left side is dead. I know this because I disconnected the HID conversion kit and tried two other regular bulbs. Does anyone know how to fix this? Please help, I really can't afford the stealer right now.
