found an awesome tip online on how to remove planes from star trail pics. needed it for this shot, prob 10 or so planes flew by

63 photos at 30secs each. the final photo light painted the foreground with a flashlight.

this is DEFINITELY something I need to learn to do…how do you overlay multiple photos in LR?

[MENTION=8883]LINY4Runner[/MENTION] i use PS to overlay them, i dont believe LR has ability to since you cant change blend modes. in PS you go file>automate>stack and it will stack all photos in one. then go change blend mode to lighten on all of the top layers. this mode only the 'lighter' pixels on below layer show through. you can write an action to do all of the work but then it wont remove airplane trails so you still have to look/edit each layer.

Thank you; not sure if it was on purpose when i took the pic but it does show a sense of scale. We drove it there a few months ago - i was surprised it made it. Its a jeep, not a 4runner : )

Both of those shots are heavily photoshopped - each one is like 4 or 5 different images, tons of adjustments etc.
