Here are a couple of recent photos taken with a Canon 7D and 70-200 2.8 IS L lens:

First is of a bee taken while I was waiting for the train in the 2nd photo to show up.

Being somewhat new to digital after 50 years of shooting film, I am still learning about things that can be done easily with digital images that were hard to impossible with slides (film). One of the main things learned is that it is so easy to crop and enlarge the image to make it better.

The photo of the bee is maybe 1/5th of the original frame, and the train is also cropped, although only a bit - just enough to get rid of some background clutter.

Both photos were taken with the camera in shutter priority with f stop and focus on auto, and with image stabilization on.

Here are a couple of recent shots.

1st up, while working with a client down in Show Low, AZ...I shot a panorama of Kinishba Ruins (built from ~1250AD to ~1400AD):



A few days later, I wanted to get back up to Gross Reservoir, west of Boulder, CO to shoot a piece of driftwood I had seen on the shoreline. I knew this would look great in B+W.

You could just remove the frames that the wb goes out. Probably won't even notice it. And that's a good point to anyone doing any sort of time lapse. Make sure that ALL your settings are set to a manual setting. That includes WB.

I had all of my settings set in the camera, but in post I adjusted the WB and exposure settings. LR didn't sync correctly so the few dark frames. I am too lazy and too many other shots to go through to go back and fix it. not sure why but I have that issue a lot with LR, I almost have to click through each shot to make sure the sync function worked
