Also random update: Got myself a Canon Pixma Pro-100 printer! So that is exciting, local camera shop was having a one day sale where they had a guy there from Canon doing demos and was running a special. So got it for real cheap brand new and a Pack of 13x19 paper. Anyways I am starting a website and selling some prints. Pretty excited to do this. Nerve racking but cool at the same time. The site is still in the making but am wanting to share my passion and see if I can make a buck at the same time. *random update over*

I've been getting pretty lazy about taking pictures or even bringing my camera lately. All these awesome pictures are making me want to take my caera out more.

I went for a drive with my girlfriend and snivilous last night, and played with basic editing provided by iPhoto for the first time. I think they turned out good, trying not to go overboard and just change the colors and sharpness and stuff enough to get what I was picturing.

Holy 15" batman! All of my water stuff like that is a max of like 1.3". Really like it though, nice!

ND filter and f/32 helped

your lightning shop at the top is insane. looks like a crazy storm. we usually get some like that but so far this season has been weak.

Very true. I never really thought that going over a second and a half would really do that much but I like how smooth yours looks.

Yeah that was very lucky, Montana is in its stage of blue bir days, thunderstorms at night. That night was the most powerful one so far and probably the most powerful one we will get.

Here is a video I put together on a recent road trip, only did it for about a half hour because the GoPro under my car made me beyond nervous. By far the MOST nerve racking 30 minutes of my life. But new magnet mount will solve that. Enjoy! Oh and watch in 4K if you can.

spent the weekend in rocky mountain national park

star trails. around 30mins. facing west since north was covered in clouds

dream lake. 4" exposure at 5am. it was incredibly windy up there unfortunately. so the lake wasnt very smooth for reflections. i PS'd the reflection to give it a little bit of one

Both images appear to have some digital noise; perhaps take the exposure down .33 or .66?? Also, the Dream Lake image is a wee-bit too pink (IMO).

Windy you say? Oh...yes, that's right...you were in RMNP. It's almost always flipping windy there! LOL

Last Saturday, I got up at 11:30pm and headed for the Maroon Bells Wilderness; the weather forecast had improved a bit, so I wanted to take a chance on a Spring sunrise at Maroon Lake (along with a little bit of night-sky photography ahead of morning twilight and sunrise).

Post Twilight Bells (ISO100, 104sec, 19mm@f/16):

A couple minutes after sunrise was over, I packed up the gear to go trek about on the lower loop. The vast amount of rain we've had in CO over May and early June has made the area extremely lush and green!!!

One spot that I have used a few times during Fall Colors, along the lower loop was perfect for one of my creations this day:
