**Photography Talk**

My first time actually shooting film - not including when I was a child shooting my parents P&S cameras from time to time.

I'm a newbie, here. I really want to try 160, as well as some ektar. After my first batch getting developed, I don't need to shoot 400 ISO. I think I'll shoot a roll of portra 400 through my $7 Rebel with the 135L. My Minolta has a max shutter speed of 1/1000, so I usually have to shoot at f8+ (during the day).

Anyhow, I'm keeping my eye out for an EOS 3. I don't know why but I want one.

Great shots, BTW. Per usual.

EDIT. This is from that Rebel Ti, 50 1.8 II and HP5.

It looks cheap, but it seems to be a really decent little camera. I'm really interested in playing with it more. I can put my 35 f2 IS on it and shoot it handheld at 1/10 like my 5d, it's going to be a lot of fun. Especially with a pop-up flash.

made a trip to Crystal Colorado over the weekend to see the fall colors. it rained most of the day and night, you had to be ready for that brief time the blue skies showed.

this is a 5 shot HDR merged in LR and edited in PS CC

Wow, there's a lot of talent on these pages.

I shot with a DSLR for years but because of the size of it, I stopped taking it places. I bought a sony RX100 a couple years back and love it. The photo quality is amazing and it's small enough that I always have it on me.

Here's a shot from a Hawaii trip earlier this year and a shot of Mt Elbert in Colorado taken from the Mt Massive trail.

THAT is one of the coolest pics I've seen...

My desire for a decent DSLR just just hit the top-o-the-list...
