piaa 525s(wiring question)

Has anyone out there ever hooked up a set of 525s without using the supplied switch? I want to use separate switches to control the high and low beams, and just want to know if anyone had any advice for me.

I was also wondering if anyone has mounted a westin safari bar to a '99 t4r limited. Westin doesn't make a mounting bracket and I want to know if anybody has any suggestions for fabricating one.

I looked for along time to find a switch other than the one that came with the PIAA 525s but I never did find a good solution, that I like, so I stuck with the stock switch...
