Picked up my KM2s today!!

Picked up my KM2s today!! UPDATED

Well my 4Runner is finally going to be outfitted with some 285s! I picked up a set of BFGoodrich M/T KM2s from a guy on TTORA. They only had 1,000 miles on them and I got them for $650. All I have is a cell phone teaser shot for now, but more pics will come tomorrow when mounted!!

i had a friend fit 285s under his 2wd sierra lol, he scrubs so bad its not even funny.

those tires look really good. does anybody know if they make them in 265/70s?

Well I got them mounted today. Under normal driving I can keep them from rubbing 90% of the time but some trimming, pounding, and possibly a small BL are going to be needed before it sees any offroad time. It was starting to get dark by the time I could get out of the house but here are the pics I got so far. More tomorrow.

Those tires are dope. Really brings together the whole truck now. Looking forward to some daytime shots

You can. Theres a guy on yotatech that has a write up on how to do it. You just have to cut something but I dont remember what it was. Sorry I dont have a link for it, I just randomly came across it one day. It a guy that flaunts that he has no lift and out wheels everyone. I think I remember it being under a thread call offroading for newbies, I think. but it deffinately can be done.

With these tires it's not going to happen with stock bumpers and without a whole lot of pounding trimming. I have a 2.5" lift and these rub BAD if I turn too tight. If I start offroading and stuffing these tires, I will just start ripping body panels OFF. I would say in order to run these tires with no lift you would need aftermarket front and rear bumpers. You would need to pound the pinch weld area into submission (most likely compromising the rigidity of the truck), and you would still rub with nearly any articulation at all.
