So the 2015 I ordered finally came in and I picked it up yesterday. I went Blizzard Pearl and Redwood interior, and I must say, I love the look. There seems to be a pretty large array of pictures online that have the redwood interior varying quite a bit, but it looks more like a dark brown than a copper ( I will post pics later when I get a minute). I went out on a limb a bit with the color, but I absolutely love it now. The black accents of the 2015 limited with the blizzard pearl also looks pretty sweet imo. I actually was not a big fan of the front grill, but like others have said, its is definitely growing on me.
I was thinking upgrading from the 2011 limited wouldn't be that big of a difference, but there are actually quite a few changes overall and a couple of the areas are pretty nicely refined. Some of the areas that people will complain about with this car are still present, but overall I think its pretty excellent when knowing exactly what you are buying. Between the smart key, the real leather seats, the full time all wheel drive and the suspension, I am happy I stuck with the limited.
I ended up getting it for 41800 out the door which for a car that wasnt even in the U.S., I thought was a pretty good deal considering they included a remote start, window tinting, and 4 years of maintenance. I added the 100k bumper to bumper for $1400 which I am still going to be shopping around on, but I wanted to get that in my payments if that was the best deal I could find.
A nice little bonus, when I saw the car for the first time I saw they had the rubber 4runner matts in it, including the cargo mat. Right after seeing it, he gave me an options list which had those on there for $200 which obviously I declined. Nothing too major, but nice to have while waiting for some weathertech's. (the cargo liner from my 2011 limited w/ 3rd row did not even come close to fitting in the back of the 2015).
Anyways, happy with the purchase, will be sticking around here for a while. If anyone has questions comparing the two, let me know, happy to answer whatever I can. I will post some pics soon!
