Picked up this 99 beauty with 67k miles!

Hi there, long time reader, first time poster. I must have read close to 200 pages in builds and other stuff about 4runners.
This morning, i picked up this beautiful 99 4Runner with only 67k miles for 8k! The previous owner had like 4 cars, and this was pretty much a hanger queen, however all the rubber and mechanically is in very good condition, and it was driven consistently throughout the year.
I figured that 67k miles isn't too late to convert her for synthetic, so I gave her a 10w-30 mobil one oil change and alignment. Also bought 75w-90 syn gear oil, because I do not know when it was changed last. (I've read that 75w-90 should work just fine in the rear axle as well). Filled her up with some good gas and put in some fuel additive, once the tank runs down I will replace the fuel filter as well.
The inside is mint!
Once i save up i will most likely give it a 3' fj cruiser lift, some 17' beadlock with 33' coopers stt pro's, as well as front/rear plate bumper and some rock sliders.

Unfortunately no, I will most likely make it hidden under the bumper, with one pipe, probably with flow master 40

Not crazy about the grill guards but jeez, 67k miles??!!! Looks to be in great shape! What a catch! I think the lowest mileage I've seen in my area is 113,000.

FYI pretty sure the recommend oil is 5-30

Such a low mileage is impressive especially for the price! Is it 4WD?

Also yes, the oil recommended is 5W-30.

I notice it has the "Supercharged" stickers on it...any engine shots? It looks exactly like mine the day I bought it. 99 is the best year IMO.

I'm not going anywhere cold anytime soon, so I figured 10w-30 should do just fine.
Unfortunately the previous owner did some funny stuff, like putting supercharged and limited stickers.
But the real kicker - is the fog lights.
I was wondering why weren't they working, only to find out that bulbs are regular phillips lamp bulbs taped to the back!

I have used 10w-30 in mine for 12 years without any problems related to oil.

Ah hell no! Are those the PAR20 bulbs you use for your home??? Nice find man, now it's time to remove all that shit ie grill guard and get crackin!!!:tea:

I saw adds in Craigslist with sellers claiming their 120k or 170k 4Runners were low mileage !
The Tacomas are even worse haha!

That's a find! Well done! Lowest original miles I've seen in a long time. No worries on the SC that would have boosted (pun intended) the price as well and you did well for what you paid.
