Now for the n00b question of the day that I'm just gonna ask and get out of the way now or else I'll never know: What exactly does the ECT switch do and what does ECT mean? What are the benefits/differences of having it on/off?

The ECT changes the shift point so it shifts later, revving the RPM's up higher. It helps when towing mainly.

Best I could do with a digital camera. Very observant. The whole truck shakes. I have flat spots on the tires. Sat too long while I was out of town working. New tires are only a paycheck or two away.

I like the Destination M/T. However, I'm leaning towards the Definity Dakota MT. As aggressive as the M/T, but with a 40,000 mile warranty and road hazard. Load range E, 10 ply (rough, I know), $555.00. A PepBoys tire. I used to work there years ago, so I know Futura tires dismal past.
