Pics not Displaying

I've been having issues with pictures in threads not loading. In some they will load, but in the majority they don't I just get a box with a red X in it. I even have the red X in the top left where the forum logo usually is. I've looked through settings and everything seems to be setup correctly. I am using Windows XP and IE8. I have this problem with both of my computers when I'm on this site. I don't seem to have this problem with other forums I read. Any thoughts?

It's more likely than not, due to IE8. It was discussed awhile back that members who can't see the pictures were using IE8. There was a thread where IE8 users listed some setting changes.

In the mean time, you can try and see if you can go back to IE6 or 7, if not try another browser like FireFox.

I'm using IE7 and pictures are loading fine.

Thanks for the response.

I'm using IE8 and have tried messing with some settings but can't get it to work. I downloaded Firefox and it works, so anytime I want to view this site I use FF and the rest of the time I use IE8. Not really the best solution, but better than nothing.

Google Chrome and Safari are good browsers and are pretty fast.
