There's this thing called a "search tool", you should try it some time. Many users here won't respond to threads where a newbie poster is basically asking to see what is already out there and that they wouldve found if they just SEARCHED! It just encourages duplicate threads on this site, and we already get enough of those on a daily basis.

I figured since I haven't seen many t4r's with lights behind the grill like I do my last vehicle (taco) that I would make a thread for them since I was thinking about making that my next mod. good job finding that thread though man. very impressive. :thumb:

I'm with ya lol. I know TW mentality well. Seems it's over here just the same oh well. I'm shopping for a 4th gen now and will be doing this as soon as I get mine just as I did the wife's.

yeah, just purchased my 07 limited 4wd a few weeks ago and already have the mod bug! going to hit this deployment and come back to a bunch of goodies. just wanted to see the options and look people are going with.

that was totally my bad for misinterpreting the OP, just really sick of all the noob threads that get created on a daily basis here, it makes it all that much worse when people are actually to search for some good information!

to your original question, i searched quite a bit in the past on this same topic and that is the only person that has attempted the lights behind the grill. I recall one other person trying it with some circular lights but i cant seem to find the thread on that at the moment

Given the structure of our grill the only people with successful lighting behind the grill will be those who have completed the sitoshi grill mod. Might search those threads for pictures and details.

Light bar in the lower grill is also a good option. 30" fits nicely. Unless you take the actual grill out, light output isn't great, but it is do able. It took me a lot of tries to get mine decent. I just didn't have the audacity to cut out the grill of mine.
