Well,

Bought this thing April 8th, and went camping with it April 9th, tested everything out then took it on a 800 mile road trip.

Gas milage was bad on the intial trip - 14.7 at 75mph, so ordered up a dynomax exhuast and milage went up to around 15.8, intake is in the mail and will be buying manual hubs soon.

It's got Downey HD springs in the back and stock up front. Will be doing a 4Crawler 1.5 inch or 2 inch body lift and a 3.4 swap in the future, then the real mods will start, I've SAS'd a few Yota's so this one is destined for that but in the distant future, for now, I'm going to try to get some better milage with the above mods and probably waterproof it and go electric fan - in my experience it helped on the interstate milage and this one wil lget alot of those

Sweet truck. Sounds like you have alot of things to keep you busy on it for a while to come!

I'm so jealous about the condition that those older trucks are down there. Anything around here at that age has the body hanging on for dear life with all the rust. I've always been partial to the 2nd gen and would love to have one in that kind of shape.

Yeah, there is no rust on this thing, and the fact that the head gasket and all that stuff was just gone through is even better

I put the CAI/HAI on a couple of days ago and decided to keep the dynomax catback on as it's quiet and I've noticed a milage increase Budget is shot now though so the electric fan, BJ spacers, panhard alignment bar, spacers for the rear, gears and rims and tires will all come SLOW now.

I plan on waxing it up and getting some more pictures. I'm riding my motorcycle alot right now due to the budget being blown but have three and two are for sale, once one of them sales, I'll probably get the BJ spacers, 33x10.50's with that money

Man, I don't know, just expect it to get modded as I can't leave anything stock

I'm still in the air on the BJ spacers or just the Body lift to prep for the engine swap, but that's even further off, haha.

For now, I just enjoy being able to camp and fish, as well as surf anytime I want
