well here is a few pics of my 4runner. still trying to work on it as you can tell. sorry that the pics are sideways didn't know how to flip them around. i have more pics just can't find them yet.

Maybe just the way it looks in the pics, but both your sliders and bumper appear really close to the body? Other than that it looks real good.
 
Sorry, not diggin the black paint, wheels, homemade bumpers or sliders. Not to be mean, but its not a clean look at all.

I doubt they did those for looks. Wheels, rocker panels, and lower doors were probably chipped from offroading and 10+ years of use so a coat of Flat black probably did them some good, Rear bumper is for offroading, front is for approach angle, Homade sliders are to save money and help protect the rig.

I like the rack, and the truck you did a good job on it.

I don't know about the whole "homade" comment. If you got a bender and a welder you can make any tube product on the market in your garage. The fab work looks good, and I am sure between him and his buddy they got skills or chances are they wouldn't even have the resources to build it. I think it looks good, just too close to the body for my taste.

My friend actually has a two welder a plasma cutter and a bender. Also I work at a powder coating shop that let's mecoat all of my stuff for free. I do most my wheeling at pismo beach. I haven't took it crawling yet becaus ther is nowhere near by to crawlit at that I know of.

Wow that must suck. For me pismo beach is like 20 min where I live at. I pretty much drive much 4runner like I ride my dirt bike I try to huck it high ad I can in the air. Lol. I'm going out on Sunday to pismo beach and I'll try to take so
e video of it of atleast some pics of me catching some air.
 
This is a pic of the start to my back bumper, guess I never took a one of the finished product. Maybe I will snap one tomorrow if I get a chance.

I love that noise right when he hits the jump, sounds like a new paint job on the bumper and LCA's are coming.
