Since I've signed up on this forum, I've spent a quite bit of money on my beast and I blame you guys for that. Thanks a lot guys, seriously.


Before I start posting pictures, I want to let you guys know I've tried to take the best pictures of the truck with my mom's canon but let's just say I almost broke my mom's camera in a fit of frustration / rage ;)

Sorry about some pictures... I couldn't figure out how to disable a delayed timer to take a picture since it was my mother's camera. She lives at her own house while I live in my dad's and my dad is currently in India for his job. I hope you guys enjoy the pictures as much I enjoyed buying and installing these babies.. (look at sig. for what I've installed aside from Alpine/Infinity audio) :)

Looks good man. I like the Black LED tails. The inside is certainly bright, the best part is that you can run the dome LED's for like a day without draining your battery. That comes in handy sometimes. :biggrin2:
 
Hahaha yessss, even if I have my windows rolled up, people can still see me without any issues during night time. it's bright for sure!

Lookin' good Anthony! Glad to finally see some pics of your rig. Also, glad you're enjoying the dome light! Next up we gotta get you some clear corners/bumpers, take off those running boards, and black our your rear emblems!

Get some of those front mud flaps once you take off the running boards.

Clear bulbs for the turn signals would look good.

Can you take a picture of the HIDs against a wall or something solid?

Did we ever figure out the proper part number for the front flaps and where do order them from?

Well hit me up with some links for me to check out at! :P I'm just getting into this whole scene and I can't find something if I don't know what to look for!

Also, how would you go on about taking the corner lights off when there isn't anything for you to use to take it off? :D

Edit: Can I see some pictures of blacked out rear emblems too on a 4runner please? Thanks guys :D, can't wait!

Editx2: Yes I will take pictures against a solid wall. Promise ;), check again by midnight tonight!

My opinion is take time with the mods and decide what you really want and think things over before you do them to make sure they are going to suit you.

Simply taking suggestions from other members can make you end up with a truck that looks like everybody elses. It's your truck and in the end you have to live with it so take your time.

Gosh, I'm nervous about the first two. I'm too used to PNP kits :|

I just ordered the clear corners, but I'm debating on whatever if I should tackle the 1st 2 posted above ^^.

The reason why I'm a little bit shady on this is because I haven't had the time to buy the tools because of school and my job and I'm afraid I'd fail something. :|

I feel you :). I was planning on replacing things that several people have mentioned anyways :).

Trust me, the running board removal is a lot easier than you may think. As long as you have a 10mm socket wrench and a little time it's easy to do. I just laid under my truck and had it done in about an hour. It's really not that difficult.

And once you get the emblems off it's a pretty easy mod too. I can give you more details on the removal process because I did it a little differently than the write-up I posted. Trust me, I'm a 21 y.o. college student that is not that mechanically or fix-it inclined and I was able to do all these things myself without any complications.

Alright dude, that sounds awesome. I will tackle those mods after I get my paycheck on Thursday :)

I'd rather my 4runner look the same as 5-10 on this website instead of hundreds in my city. Just my opinion.

Removing the running boards is really easy. Probably 10 minutes on each side. Watch your eyes though, junk will fall into them.

I'd like the tail light guards if they actually covered the whole light.
